Latest software update still no auto unlock?

I've read elsewhere on this forum that auto unlock of the X would be coming in a future update. As of the latest update last night, my non Premium pkg 90D still requires me to walk up to the car, press one of the door handles in once to unlock the car, walk back to the charge port to remove the unlocked charger and back to press the door handle a second time to have it swing open.
I know you can press the key fob to unlock, but rarely our key fob is actually in our hands.

Does anyone else have to approach and press the door handle in twice to have the door swing open?

I cannot stand this feature. Just about any other car built since 2010 has a auto unlock feature where if the fob is within range your door unlocks for you.

I have auto lock enabled in settings but there is no such this as auto unlock on approach.

Any insight is appreciated!
