Leaking fluid model S

Does anyone know what this leaking fluid could be on my model S? There is a puddle on the driveway from this, feels oily?

What color is the fluid? If it is blue it is probably the coolant and you have a leaking radiator, pump, or valve.

Seems to be clear? hard to tell as the sun had dried most of it up. Would I not get a warning light if the coolant was low?

You will.. When it gets low enough.

Take a white paper towel/Kleenex and wipe some off the bottom of the car to see what color it is.

I'm not sure what would be clear. Maybe oil in the A/C system? Washer fluid?

But if coolant or the A/C was low I would expect you to have some warning.

Pull the frunk and see where the leak is originating from. Should be obvious with that much fluid on the ground. Not too many fluids it could be so coolant is suspect unless something worse like a DU leaking.

Looks like you scraped something hard enough that it did some damage. I'd get that checked out ASAP.

Tried that, still looks clear, maybe a very slight bluish tinge.

Are the pics from the front of the car or rear? Like @LateToTheParty said, looks like you did some damage so pull the frunk is your best bet now.

Did you check to see if your AC is still running cold? You should pull out the Trunk tub and covers to see if you can find the source. If its due to something you hit, then your Auto Insurance may cover it. Doesn't look like a warranty claim due to the damage shown to the underside/front of the vehicle.

Absolutely. With that much fluid leaking you’ll see what the cause is. Battery coolant heater, 3-way valve, 4-way valve, cracked washer fluid container, etc.

I’m assuming the floor damage was done before I bought the car in October as I don’t recall hitting anything.
We had a few days of extremely cold weather last week so hoping maybe it’s a split pipe on the washer fluid.

Can’t be as the reservoir lies behind front LH wheel-arc liner, all dripping would happen under drivers door on left side of the vehicle.
Only other fluid is the coolant.

is yours a D car? If so there is also gear type oil in the front drive motor. You really do need to pull the frunk - its not difficult and is covered on YT. You can also pull the frunk trim to give access to the coolant reservoir. If that turns out to be below the 'min' level you have your answer. If it looks OK it may point to the DU.

Not immediately obvious to me, but could be coolant from the 3 way valve?

The hose closest to the vehicle front looks to be the culprit. Would like to know how it got that way.

I see it’s the three-way valve and the beam that seems to be damaged/touched underneath is the same front cross member. So can’t be front engine as well. Look for similar thread here, someone just recently mended this.
