Lease extension and mileage question

Has anyone extended lease? I know Tesla allows lease extension up to 6 months. My lease mileage limit is 15000mi/yr, so I will be allowed up to 45000 mi at the end of the 3 year lease without any penalty. If I extend the lease for 6 months, will Tesla grant additional mileage that will cover 6 more months? So (15000mi/12mo)*6mo = 7500 miles?

I would ask the Tesla Finance team, since what other people may have experienced isn't necessarily what will happen in your case. In the past, I've had luck reaching the finance team at [email protected], but that was a few years ago.
