Leasing a Model S in Colorado

Hi Everyone,

Good news, it looks like we are finally getting into a Model S after some months. We've been talking with our representative at Tesla and there are a few items we wanted to make sure we are okay on.

We are planning on leasing a MS for 2 years and we live in Colorado. Below are our questions.

1) If you make 200K + a year, are you disqualified from the federal and the colorado state tax credits? I know with leasing the federal credit is built into the payment, but we want to ensure there won't be any problems.

2) If we qualify for the tax credits, can you apply the colorado state tax credit at delivery. Meaning, can we sign it over to Tesla. We are hearing from your experience rep that you can not sign it over, but we are reading the legislation and it is saying we can.

3) If we can not sign it over, can we simply not pay our quarterly tax's to the state knowing when we file at the end of the year we will be 6K up?

4) When leasing, what other expenses will there be at delivery? We know we will have to pay registration at delivery, but is there anything else?

Thanks Everyone for the help. As an FYI, we did talk to our accountant, but it seems this is a little knew to them and we wanted to ensure the information we have is right.
