Leasing Model 3 SR: How is taxes handled in the lease? [in Texas]

Hello, first time poster, looking for some answers.

I live in Texas, and I’m currently looking to lease a Model 3 SR. I spoke to an SA about how taxes in a lease is handled (in Texas tax is charged on the full purchase price of the vehicle, not on the monthly lease payments) and the SA said I’d have to pay both registration and tax at the county tax office. Does Tesla not take payment for taxes on Tesla leases in Texas? I was only going to pay the taxes + fees on the lease.
