Leave fog lights on?

    Mine are on by default. Should I turn them off?

    it's all about your preferences, if you like them on. leave them on. if you don't like them on, turn them off.
    there is minimal impact of them being left on.

    Yup. Whatever works best for you. They do show a nice wide path up close. Great for my country roads and little critters. Tried them out in a loaner. I just wish I had them!

    I think mine have about 30 seconds of use in 3.5 years.

    I only turn mine on in fog. Seems the most logical.

    The problem is that fog light only work well if the headlights are off. As that is not legal in most places it relegates fog lights to a checkbox item rather than a really function tool.

    I personally like the wider light path they provide so I've always used them when available, but to each his own.
