LED, Ambient Center Console or LED, Glove Box - Do yours work???

Hi Roadsters,

I was reading the Roadster Parts Manual and I saw the "LED, Ambient Center Console" listed.
I can feel it with my hand under the gear selector buttons on the console.
I am sure it does not work.
The LED in the glove box does not work either...

Do yours work?

Do you have a better replacement?

I have a 1.5, so no glove box. But the red LED that shines down under the console failed early in the car's lifetime and was replaced by Tesla under warranty.

RE: LED... from another thread here.

That red LED is connected to the alarm system. It has noting to do with the glove box other than it being there.

I double checked and mine actually works!!!

I don't remember it being this expensive, but I bought this light from Amazon.
It works wonders crawling around in the passenger footwell working on the VMS or the OVMS3...
