Hey guys got a 2016 model s with new facelift and one of my lights is starting to do the common yellowing. my question is if I buy one on ebay for $120-$200 can I plug it in and it will work or does it need tesla to calibrate etc.
Hey guys got a 2016 model s with new facelift and one of my lights is starting to do the common yellowing. my question is if I buy one on ebay for $120-$200 can I plug it in and it will work or does it need tesla to calibrate etc.
I had a couple replaced and asked about calibration. The mobile tech said they have pins (on light) and holes (on frame) that line up on install so no leveling necessary. Just make sure part numbers match. Not sure if computer will recognize it plug and play or if you need technician mode. Good luck.
