I'm having a problem with my car and was hoping for some help. The left part of my dashboard screen is "blank" - I always have on my screen the radio function, except when navigation is operating. Yesterday, the left side display went blank. I tried a hard reset - holding both wheel buttons down - when the dash screen came back up, the left side was still empty. Does anybody have a solution? Thanks for any help - Tennisman
Hold down the left scroll wheel until you see the selection menu come up and then you can select the media player. Scroll and click to select it.
Sorry. yes hold. That's what I get for finger typing on my iPhone. - - - Updated - - - Also BTW. Might want to check out the walk through videos here: http://www.teslamotors.com/support Specifically, check out the steering wheel controls.
For the dash screen you need to hold down the two top buttons for around 20 to 25 seconds to reboot it. The two scroll wheel buttons reboot the main screen.
I am having this left-side instrument cluster problem and none of the above solutions work. Does anyone have another idea?
If you hold down the left side scroll wheel for several seconds and don't get a window letting you pick what to display there, you probably have a hardware problem. When you pick a navigation destination, does the map appear there?
