    Recently I saw a video in which a presenter stated: "Set the car to only unlock when you physically press the key."
    Is there such a setting?
    I have:
    Walk-Away Door Lock -> ON
    Automatic Doors - OFF
    Unlock on Park -> OFF
    Close All With Key Fob -> ON
    In spite of these settings, when I walk up to the car with the Key Fob in my pocket, the car door opens when I press on the door handle.

    Hmm, I have a Model X with Autosteer Hardware 2 and Software 17.26.76
    I have looked through Controls and Settings. I cannot find "auto present door handles"
    Where do you see it?
    Thanks

    No auto present handles on the X, so not an option.

    Good point though - having a setting that disables proximity unlocking/enabling of doors would be an added safety feature.

    On an S, touching the door handle will unlock as well. Auto-present just makes it easier.

    How would this reduce the possibility of theft?

    I don't see any of the options doing anything except perhaps ensuring the car isn't left unlocked.
