Sept and lifetime numbers. On time this time!

I'm suspecting that since we got 6.0 a couple weeks ago, our usage has gone from an average of around 350+ up to 380+. In the firmware 6 thread, others have noted similar. But the some have said their average went down with 6.0.

Whoops, last month should've said 09-02 as the record date. No trips this past month. As usual, "A" is my near-lifetime and "B" is the past month.

Heh, I drove almost exactly twice as many miles as last month; my vacation was a little over half of August, though. Anyway, amusing to me.

Oh, and a new phone means a better photo of that little total miles number!

Well that's fine, but it still doesn't explain why A and B have different data to work with.

They don't, but they are calculated separately and the analog to binary conversion don't always result in the same number--unless you have a lot of extra bits to hide the differences. And I doubt they use long integers to calculate Wh/mi. They probably just use floats.

Update:

Lifetime:
Denarius - 329Wh/mi, 32885 Miles, combined 19/21, 85kWh (P85+), Utah

September:
Denarius - 328Wh/mi, 3242.3 Miles, 21 only, 85kWh (P85+), Utah

I took a 1200 mile trip in September with an average speed of 83mph. That pushed my average up this month from 310 to 329.

I'm a bit tardy in posting this month, so I added Sept to my recent running list:

Lifetime:
ZBB 296 25,155 AZ 60 19 1 9/30/14
ZBB 297 23,701 AZ 60 19 1 8/31/14
ZBB 296 21,062 AZ 60 19 1 7/31/14
ZBB 294 18,065 AZ 60 19 1 6/30/14

Individual Months:
ZBB 282 1,454,5 AZ 60 19 1 Sep-14
ZBB 302 2,639.4 AZ 60 19 1 Aug-14
ZBB 312 2,996.4 AZ 60 19 1 Jul-14
ZBB 288 1,322.7 AZ 60 19 1 Jun-14

September tied for my lowest month ever (April was also 282 Wh/mi). July and August include our road trip (which drove the average up), so I'm now back to regular commuting. Its also starting to cool off here in AZ, so I expect the next couple months to help get the Lifetime average back to my previous low point of 294 (or possibly lower -- the first few day of Sept, I'm averaging 263!)...
