Mostly it's just practice with your commute. Where you live makes a difference as some locations have inherently better energy use roads than others. Also making sure your car is aligned and the tires inflated properly (don't rely on the TPMS) helps. It also helps if you have a 60 (I have an S85). In some cases you can alter the from work and to work routes to reduce usage. However, over 50% of the miles I've put on are vacation trip miles so the route strategy doesn't apply all that much (route strategy requires practice with each route--at least until nav systems take elevation changes and stop lights into consideration).Gosh, you guys around 250Wh/mi, *downhill* both ways!

also keep in mind that I'm in AZ -- winter for us is very mild and I'm not using HVAC much. My energy use will start going up by late spring when AC is needed more...
