Lifting Mx to change wheels

Oct 25, 2018
I'm planning on taking my X to a shop to swap out the wheels. Are there any concerns about how they lift the car? Can the car be lifted on any standard lift, or should it be manually lifted each wheel at a time? TIA...
I have had my lifted at several times and the local Pep Boys have hockey pucks things.

Look up the pictures and the locations and then show it to them in the store and then they will have an idea what you’re talking about. These pucks are used them several high-end cars.

You can feel the "Defdct", which is circular in shape approximately 3 to 4 inches in diameter, on each four corners before you get to the wheels. It was approximately 2 inches away from the edge of the car towards the midline of the car, and maybe like 5 inches but I don’t remember from the wheel well towards the middle of the car.

However from my understanding this may not be necessary as long as they don’t lifted by the middle part of the car which is where the battery is, and this is where I like to scare them and tell him that if the thing is lifted wrong it’s going to burn up and blow up in their face because of the huge monster size battery.
