By the way Tesland is now also doing the sills for the MX and very soon also for the rear doors in the new MX's

I have Norm's inserts, and like them a lot. But If cost was not a concern, I would choose the Tesland inserts.
The Tesland inserts have an elegant, fine brushed structure, while Norm's product has a random brush pattern. Norm's cut-outs are not as precise as those shown on the Tesland pictures. It also seems there are fewer steps to install the Tesland product. Unfortunately, the higher product and shipping costs made Tesland too expensive for me to justify.
It's nice to have choices, though. Norm's solution is both good and affordable. But those who want high class looks should go with Tesland.

Yeah I asked him to use a blue led instead of the white. Looks great with the blue footwell lights from abstract ocean.

Has anyone ordered lighted sill plates recently and received them? I sent an email about a week ago but have not received a response.
I read in some other thread that his email was down or not working properly. Try sending a note directly from his user account in the forum
