I was gonna buy the T, but noted that kit was "repurposed" from Model X lighted T with some gap under the T and car body.
Also, now you must remove the PEG on the T emblem that you remove from your car - and then re-use that.
They used to include a T emblem already installed to the light module - it was like that for the Model 3.

    From EVANNEX install guide:

"Note: Because the Model Y Lighted T is repurposed from the Model X Lighted T, there is a slight difference in curvature between the hatch surface of Model Y and the Lighted T. The result is a small gap (approx. 1.5 mm) between the hatch surface and the Lighted T in the center part of the Lighted T body. The silicon is used to seal this gap".

I might wait for an improved version, and a video install guide.....

ohh good find, yeah, not worth getting until it's made specifically for the Y then. No one wants a gap under the badge.

Not my cup of tea. I went for a more subtle but bold approach with some real carbon fiber decals. Looks sick on my white m3

From Evannex "Thank you for contacting EVANNEX. This is in response to your inquiry regarding the Lighted “T”.

Each vehicle has its own unique Lighted “T” for a multitude of reasons including size. Therefore, the Model 3 Lighted “T” should not be installed on the Model Y. This is why we sell a version specifically for the Model Y on our site."

9 months later, it's on sale for $99 (was $299) plus $12 (was $69) T logo puddle lights.

Did this to my Model 3 year ago...will finally do for MY.

Ouch... $99 for a product that costs probably $10. Cray Cray. Neat product though.
