Recommended remotes:

Oznium 12V LED Dimmer and Strobe Remote Switch
Oznium Remote Control On/Off Switch

The Oznium remotes synch with Homelink very easily making off-on control of the T from the touchscreen quite simple. Oracle remotes, even though they sync with Homelink, are not recommended, as in my experience have an unacceptably high failure rate.

Installation

Installation is an easy DYI project or can be done by a auto accessory shop. It requires removal of the nose cone, drilling of two 5/64 holes in the nose cone under the T and arch mounting position, connecting the T to 12v and ground with a buyer-supplied device that will provide remote control.

Other parts required include remote control, tap-a-fuse, 18 gauge wire, Goop or 3m double faced auto tape.

Tools require include a power drill, 5/64 drill bit, plastic lever for prying the nose cone loose.

Added my name too!

Btw, does the Oznium remote you suggest remember its power on/off status when the 12v is restored? In other words, I'd like to hook the circuit up to a 12v source that is switched (accessory feed) and use the Oznium remote to set the brightness level, but then have the whole thing turn on or off according to the car's accessory on ("ignition") status? If I understand correctly the Oznium system remembers its own brightness or strobe settings when you turn it on or off, but the Oznium itself needs to be turned on or off using the remote. Will the Oznium turn on and off using just the 12v accessory on/off status, without me remembering to use the remote every time?

Alternatively is there a way to just set the LED brightness and have the T simply switch on and off with the 12v accessory circuit?

Thanks for this cool mod!
