Lightweight alloys 20” M3 Performance

Anyone weighed their existing tyre/wheel combination yet or know of any Tesla quoted weights?

I want a spare set and want to take the opportunity to switch to the lightest possible new alloys (without a crazy price) but I’m wondering whether Tesla have made them very light already so not much to gain.

You're right! I moved 4 from the conservatory to the garage recently and they were a right old weight. So much so that I rolled them down the hall much to my missus's displeasure. I'll try to weigh one when I get a minute although I suspect the data will be online somewhere

I have two sets of Titan 7 18" from Evasive Motorsports. One for street and one for track.
Changing from the factory 20" saved lots of weight and gave me more sidewall and instantly a better ride.

If you're going light, I think the recommendation is fully forged to get sufficient strength. But not cheap! Spin forged is a mid range compromise apparently although I'm no wheel expert to be fair!

How do you find the larger sidewalls on track? Fun and pliable or a bit too squishy?

Me neither, came across flow forged too which is another new one on me!

The tires I have on the car now are not track. The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires are lower profile (235/35 I think) and I have not put them on the car yet so we'll see.
