I would like to have the Vent option available on the center control screen. Getting out the Phone takes longer than a quick selection on the center screen and the feature would not work if you either your car or cell had no internet connection. Maybe have a user selectable option to open always open windows to the vent position and use the rain detection camera to automatically close if raining.

Considering how quick and easy it is to vent the windows using the controls on the door handle, I can't see how a button on the touchscreen (which won't be available without clicking a button or two first) would be any quicker.

The vent feature rolls the windows down to an ideal opening to allow venting, keep someone from reaching in through the windows and would not let to much rain in. Trying to get all four windows to about the same opening as the vent option is a pain doing it from the driver door controls. Yeah a voice command would be fine.

Thanks for the replies!

The normal way to use the feature is to Vent the windows before going to the car. You are probably one of the few that wants to use the Vent mode while still in the car. So probably not likely to be added to the main screen since it would be seen as redundant and not used much.

I only use vent before I go to the car. I would never use it if im already in the car.

I live in New Mexico and vent some or all of my windows almost every time I get out of the car in the Summer. The sun is quite intense at 6K feet altitude and it warms up quickly. When I ride with friends in their cars, almost all of them also vent the windows before they lock the car. The point is the feature is already implemented and a voice command should be fairly easy to add. The only problem with Voice Commands is some or all of them require the car to have an internet data connection, which the car usually has, to process the voice command.

Gotcha, you want to vent and walk away. Well, make a feature request to Elon I guess. Good luck.
