Linking Tesla App to car

So just took delivery of my MS today and just downloaded the Tesla app.

Every time I try logging into it using my tesla account info, it gives me this error every time. What am I doing wrong? Is there a 24 hour period before my account changing to took delivery for it to give me access?

Strange. I was told to login from the app at the service center when I went to pick up my car and I was able to gain access right away even before the tour began

Look in MyTesla. Your car isn’t there yet as purchased. Meaning all the ‘in process’ stuff needs to be gone. Mine was done in a couple of hours after delivery but my DS said it could have taken 24 business hours (meaning until Monday if a weekend delivery).

Took mine about half a day to show up on the app.

mine just took about 1 hour after i left the service center when i picked up my cpo car. i would call tesla

I was just thinking, they did a bank transfer for the remaining funds at the store when we took delivery..maybe have to wait till the funds clear. I wonder if this has something to do with it.

I'd give it until tomorrow as others have posted. The car didn't show up in my account until the following business day, as I also took delivery on a Saturday.

Picked up my car on Friday and it showed up in about 30 minutes
