List of upcoming UK Superchargers

Tesla themselves have historically never published details of forthcoming superchargers, as it's a hostage to fortune - they get gazzumped on the sites, problems occur at the last minute (which apparently happens often!) and they are left with a promise they can't keep, and it makes it hard for them to maintain a negotiating position with "plan B" sites once they have published "plan A".

The list on the Welcome Break site has changed several times since it first appeared a week ago, so it's a somewhat unreliable source (although construction has been spotted at least at Woodall.

The only other reported site is Grantham (at the Moto services), where there is visible construction activity but not 100% certain from the photos whether it is Superchargers or some unrelated work.

It is certainly going to be interesting to see what progress is made with the network this year, hopefully we will see plenty of new additions. Once the influx of M3 hits the U.K. The network will definitely take a hammering. Number of sites must improve significantly within the next 24 months if Tesla ownership is going to work for everyone in the long term. Let's hope Welcome break do have their facts right ??

As a new Tesla driver I am learning quickly that route planning is essential. There are clear gaps in the supercharger network, For example the East Midlands. I used Warwick Northbound successfully today but rather hoped that Leicester Forest East would be open.
