Loaners

Hi all, now that the twin crises of we are nearly bankrupt and we have more cars to deliver than we know how to are both over (I think), does anyone know if the service centres have gone back to granting Teslas as loaners or are we still getting ICEs?

Probably won't see it for a few years. Many folks are getting nothing or Uber credits, so be happy you get a car!

I didn't even get an ICE on my service 11 days ago, nor a taxi or uber voucher.

Got an ICE P.O.S. loaner I am currently driving. It is actually a thrifty rentals car. Go figure.
At least it reminds me of how amazing my Tesla is (once I get it back this afternoon).

Car had major breakdown and towed to Sydney from Newcastle. Took 4 weeks to fix. (warranty)

No loaner, rental or other offered. I did ask. "We don't do that anymore".

Communication pretty poor. No Tesla instigated communication until maybe once in the final week.

Rental (Thrifty) finally offered in Week 4 .. although "car should be ready tomorrow". Didn't take them up on it ..

I'm single with kids .. it cost me a few hundred $ in fuel + loads of goodwill from friends / family with borrowing cars etc.

Got my car back now though and all is (almost) forgotten!

I got two $30 Uber vouchers about a week ago while they tried (and failed) to fix my MCU.
I live about an $80 Uber ride from Alexandria :-(

Well, I dropped off for service at Alexandria today and got a loan car, no stress. Not a Tesla, but it's got four wheels and it goes, so that's good enough for me, after seeing everyone else's experiences!

Did you have to book the loan vehicle in advance? I have my car booked into Alexandria this Friday.

I did request a loaner, yes. Maybe I got one because it's a big repair job, it's on warranty, and/or I live out of Sydney.

I also recently got a Thrifty loaner car... with almost no petrol in it, and bald tyres (which I didn't noticed until I got home otherwise I wouldn't have accepted it).
It seems that service isn't what it used to be.
