Location of 12 volt power point in model 3.

Hi folks. Don't have our model 3 yet but wondering if someone could tell us where the 12 volt power point is. (Not the USB’s). We want to travel with a 12 volt cooler bag. One of those Peltier jobs. Also any idea of the location and fuse size...just in case.

Are you looking for the “cigarette lighter” outlet? It’s in the center “elbow rest” compartment.

As Tydal said. Lift up the center console lid, take out the tray, and look toward the top of the back edge of the compartment.

It's located inside the compartment below the arm rest.

I think it would have been more practical to have it below the phone charger area.

The fuses are all electric. No fuses you can replace.

As mentioned there isn't a fuse. If you pull to much it will disable and come back on 30 minutes later (not sure of exact time)

I would recommend having a 12 V plug with a voltmeter since the 12 V battery charge status is not displayed like for some other EVs.
This allows you to know when the 12 V get charged (the voltage is like more than 14 V)
or when the !2 V auxillary plug is disconnected (after few minutes when the car is in Park, even is the door are not locked)
