Yes, just disable remote access at @MP3Mike suggested.

Go to Controls / Settings / Safety & Security and turn off Mobile Access.

My husband and I are secondary on each other's car and we are able to see the location of either car.

You didn't get the cloaking option? Look in upgrades in the app and see if your car has the hardware, i believe its in beta and costs like $1.7M, its kinda like FSD, it works under perfect conditions.

I've had limited success by connecting my phone to the car as a hotspot and then turning off data. It only works for a little while though and then the wifi turns back off. Wish there was an easier way

I was actually testing leaving on dog mode to see if it would keep the wifi on and so far after15-20 minutes it seems to be connected fine and the car appears offline when checking on a secondary phone. I am turning off bluetooth on my primary phone to make sure people can't actually drive off with my car lol

If I were going to a strip club, I'd be more worried about my wife seeing the location, not the kids. For that matter the kids would probably want to meet me there.
