Logan Airport/Parking in General

Has anyone parked their EV at Logan Airport in Boston? I've heard there are charging stations but I have never found any, and I'm finding that the online searches aren't informative at all. I'm interested in long-term parking areas but I'll park at a terminal as well if there is EV parking.
I wish there was a better database for destination charging with specific locations. I know many are listed on the App, but they don't show you exactly where they are.
I went to Mohegan Sun last month. The Tesla App gave me the generic address for destination charging there. It's a massive casino complex with thousands of parking spaces. I had to dig and dig to find out where the only 2 spots on the premises were that didn't require valet parking. It sure would have been nice to know that the destination charging locations are located on the 4th floor of a specific parking garage at Mohegan Sun. Good God.

Use the Plugshare App for Logan Airport and filter by Tesla useable connectors. There’s an A and B terminal and other location options as well. If you click on the icons that pop up and read the info provided it will tell you where they are located with that location.

A friend of mine was in Philadelphia and having trouble locating the Tesla chargers that were at the huge King of Prussia mall’s parking structure and Plugshare was very helpful in locating them by specifying near what store, what parking lot and what floor they were on (also how many of what type). Many times people will also post photos of the area which I think is very helpful.

Plugshare users will also generally provide info about any required parking fees in garage situations. My friend needed to use charging in an urban public garage and the site indicated what side to enter from, what the garage hours were (closed after a certain hour so no overnight exit til morning) and what the parking fees were. Be sure to read the user comments as they can be helpful as well.

Are there really charging stations at airports where you can park for days at a time while you are away and charge while preventing anyone else from using the station? That seems like it would be highly inefficient.

At SFO there are definitely such spots. The ones I saw only had a wall plug and you had to use your own EVSE. No fee to plug in.

There are ChargePoint L2 station on the sixth floor of the general parking garage, but they are not intended for long term stay. You shouldn't really park in Logan long term, it is prohibitively expensive to do so by design. It would be much cheaper to leave your car at home and the Uber/Lyft to the airport in most cases.

Here's a list of designated EV parking spots at Logan by location and number of spaces. Looks like the chargers are all ChargePoints. It also lists the ChargePoint charging stations and where they are but the ChargePoint App for Logan Airport will probably be more helpful in this case. It also indicates which stalls are unoccupied along with other info including a photo of the charging location. My guess is that the charging is there so that EV drivers who return to their cars and need a charge for some range before heading out have something right there at the airport to use--not to leave your car there to charge while you are traveling. Someone from the area will probably chime in.

Hybrid and Electric Vehicles

BTW the ChargePoint chargers at the airport all seem to be listed as "free charging" and available 24/7. And while the ChargePoint App lists Tesla connectors, none appear on the map even where I know they are there so keep that in mind.

Thank you guys that is gold!
There certainly needs to be a clear policy on this topic. While I understand the thought process of not being plugged in while on a trip, if you're gone on a trip you can't return to a charged vehicle. I wouldn't want to return to the airport after a long flight and have to wait for an L2 charger to do its thing.
That being said, there are superchargers in Boston so maybe they'd want us to go to one?

If the Airport wants EVs to be able to charge there, then why call them parking places if you can't take a trip and be plugged in?
If they don't want us plugged in then they should say they are designated charging stations to be used while you're present.
