Login help

I'm new to this forum, but experienced with other car forums. The only way I can log into this site is by changing my password each time. If I try to log in using the current password I get an error message. Help!

If you’re using a VPN, try disabling it to see if that’s the issue. I don’t have any problem accessing the site while using NordVPN, but I don’t have to log in either.

No VPN. I'm on the Internet at home and office.

I’d suspect you have an extension or plug-in interfering with the site. Try using a different browser or disabling your extensions until it works. Since you’re the only person with this issue, I really doubt it has anything to do with the site itself.

Good thought. I'll run a cleaner to clear out cookies, etc, reboot, and try several browsers (already tried Chrome and Safari (on a Mac), and both had the same issue.

I am a volunteer moderator, so dont have access to any of the login back end, etc, however, there are really any other reports of this. As stated, that points to it being something on your end.

I ran a cleaner which cleared cookies, cache, etc. Rebooted and tried to log in - same problem still. Any ideas on other things to try?

You must have some software or router or firewall blocking traffic and/or cookies. Try logging in on your phone from the cell network (not your wifi). Or if you're at work, try a different computer at home, or vis-versa. Eliminate as many variables as possible, then work backwards.

Please make sure you don't have some kind of password manager extension which may be interfering.

We have never heard of this issue, so it is very unlikely that this is an issue on our end, however please do keep us updated.
