how many cars were built with No AP.
How many built with AP1
When will AP2 have more cars?

AP0/1 are just a blip on the radar... I'd ignore them.

The car was supposed to change speed up and down with speed limit changes

Technically it does, but not automatically. When the speed limit changes you just pull and hold the cruise stalk and it changes the speed. So might be just a couple lines of code and when AP2 does it, AP1 will replicate?

i didn't know this! :) Thank you for the tip; I was just resetting the AP whenever limits changed.

I generally find it more convenient just to use the five mph full detent steps to jump up or down instead of pulling and holding or resetting, but they all work.

Tesla is still obligated to fulfill AP1 promise of hands-free freeway driving from on-ramp to off-ramp with no additional charge.

Most people here believe the AP1 development is dead.

I am not really sure what more functionality we need from AP1? AP1 as such is fantastic on highways and even quite usable on local roads with half decent road markings, although AP1 was never promised besides highways.

So I would rather not have any more updates for AP1. Just leave it as it is, it does what was promised and does it great.

Well I wouldn't mind if it recognized red lights for example :) But I generally agree with you, it's a feature that is solid and does not need to be touched for the sake of 'refining it'.
