My delivery estimate also bumped back two weeks since the MX announcement. Originally late September projected when ordered 8/20 and now the delivery estimate is 10/7-10/21. It has been in production since 9/2

My MS completed production on the 9th and is in transit. My delivery date is now between October 7th and October 21st in Devon PA. This date is consistent with what the product specialist told me when I ordered even though the computer at that time estimated end of September. He said the computer estimate did not accurately reflect the shipping time by train to the East Coast and I should expect the car a couple of weeks after the September date. I wonder if they have fixed the system to reflect this when you order or if they are only making corrections as the car is being built causing the slippage in delivery time.

I guess I'll join the party. You guys are the big boys - I don't commute so I stuck with the 85D. Congrat's to you both and I'm getting excited meeself!

Unfortunately, that makes a lot of sense. The "late September" date was displayed on the website before/during the ordering process, so they wouldn't have known where it was being shipped to. Certainly hoping is closer to 10/7 than 10/21.

It used to be fairly accurate when tesla was using trucks to transport cars. Now that they are using trains it takes 2 weeks or more longer.

It looks really nice in the pictures but I did see one at the dealership waiting to get picked up and it did look a bit too dark.. basically black. Honestly I'd like it more if it did look like the picture but I think it only does in the right light. I'm okay with that. I'm considering in the future getting it wrapped but I still prefer this over the other options right now.

I really liked the photoshopped images vitaliy made in this post. I'd have ordered either the orange or aqua/teal ones if that was an option.

Are you sure you saw the right blue? The old blue used to be really dark -- almost black. This new blue is not that. It's really blue.

I joined in earlier and ordered the 90D, if the blue looks too dark might get a wrap...
or not. Can't see the paint while I'm driving!

Gotta say, was really impressed with how quickly Tesla pushed my car through the steps. Ordered sept 2nd and originally the delivery was scheduled for October, then Late Oct-November. I ended up picking up my car on the 26th of Sept, this Saturday!

Sadly I only had this weekend to play with it as tomorrow (Monday) I'm heading overseas for a couple weeks on vacation. Originally I was going to pick it up right when I got back so it was bittersweet to have it this weekend haha.

Anyway first thoughts AMAZING! I've put together a video on my YouTube channel accepting the delivery and the first drive of the car. Glad to be FULLY a member of the community now!!

Congrats on the car!

Make sure you leave it plugged in while you're on vacation. Set the charge level to 50%.
