Looking for 1st Tesla.....So Many Black Interior Model S' though

    Ready to buy my first Tesla!

    Want a Model S.

    Willing to pay in the $50's and buy from anywhere in 48 states.

    Must Have:
    • EAP
    • Glass Roof (not Sunroof)
    • Tan Interior
    Prefer:
    • Private owner still eligible for TSA
    • mcu2
    Thought this would be a relatively easy search, but the Tan interior seems to be a sticking point. I check all the usual sites almost every day. Almost every car that meets my criteria has a black interior.

    New to the forum, but would love any advice or If you know of such a car for sale, pls PM me.

    MCU2 puts it late '17. Unlikely to find that for 50's Could be wrong, but I'd bet my first born. (Been looking for a way to get rid of that first born for a long time.)

    You could always find someone local who wants black interior and is willing to trade theirs if you both chip in and do the work.

    I thought all glass / pano roofs were sun roofs? Did they make a glass roof that did not open?
    What is TSA?
    I agree that looking for a Model S with MCU2 for under 50K will be difficult to find.

    At the end of 2016 Tesla offered an all-glass roof as an option that didn't open like the pano. Then, in 2018, it became the only option as Tesla deleted the Pano sunroof from the options, sadly.

    Actually mid March 2018 and on will have MCU2, no 2017 S will.
