Oh boy the FSD debate is about to open up... but in the event it does come up I am sure $6K will be getting deposited from a good bit of people. Until then it certainly seems like a sucker option and easy $5K in Tesla bank.

Very doubtful it was a comparable car, as Tesla has offered me more than that for trade in.

So Tesla has offered you somewhere in the vicinity of 5k less than your asking price here. Have you calculated the cost savings on sales tax trading in your MX with Tesla would gain you? Once you add that into your calculations their offer might be worth it especially with the added value of not having to deal with low ballers who frequent these threads .
