Looking for S60 with AP1 under $35k

I spent about 6 months looking for a used Model S. I searched everywhere...Tesla CPO, Ebay, Craigslist, Vroom, TMC...everywhere. Simply put, you are not getting a clean title Model S with AP for $35k. The absolute best that I've seen on an AP car is $44,500. That was a high mileage, out of warranty, private party sale.

The problem is that CPO prices have been all over the place recently, but private party sales seem to follow the trend of CPO prices. You might think that a private party sale will be $5-7k less than a CPO due to warranty status, but that is just not the case.

I wound up buying a 2013 CPO S60 with 83k miles for $35,500, which I consider a very good deal. AP cars are going to receive a pretty large premium over non-AP cars since they are so much higher in demand. I'd say that you are 1.5-2 years away from finding good deals on AP cars under $40k.
