Remind us again what the two dates are to which you're counting down? I don't think I ever knew where the second number came from.

Tesla hasn't specified a date. Only "late March". Tesla has introduced cars on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays as I recall so any date is pretty much up for grabs in March.

So the first number is March 3, the date of the start of the Geneva Auto Show. The second number works out to Monday, March 28th. Is there any reason for having chosen that date as the "late March" target? Typically, specific countdowns have specific significance. It seems the countdown would be more accurate if it was simply "107 until March, the month of the reveal", or "122 days until March 16, the beginning of late March".

Late March comes from the third quarter shareholder letter dated Nov. 3, 2015, which said that the company's "on track to unveil Model 3 in late March 2016."
