No. Here's the story. I was scheduled to pick it up last Wednesday but they called on Monday to say "Oops. We forgot to paint your car blue. Would you like a white one?" I said yes, took delivery and sold it. Meanwhile, they're making a new one for me. Not from scratch though, I think they took an existing body-in-white and sent it to the paint shop. Delivery is in two weeks or so.

The car and the paperwork were ready and the delivery had already been scheduled. It was easier for Tesla to sell the car to me as planned rather than find another reservation holder to sell it to. As for me, I have to wait 3 more weeks for my car but I'm essentially getting a $20k discount on it. I can't complain.
