Montreal taxi company Taxelco has installed a 12 station Supercharger at the Montreal airport to support its Tesla taxi fleet.
Tesla to deliver its largest privately-owned Supercharger station to a taxi fleet in Montreal
Cost is estimated to be about $60000 per station.
Limited to 60kw per station.

Are these SC then not free to use for the Tesla owners who have lifetime charging? I am assuming they would not be free charging locations if they were paid for outright by a company.

They are "private" chargers paid for by the taxi company. I don't think they will be available for use by any other Teslas.

You could do that but you'll need a place to plug It in.

A portable one could be handy for opening routes that Tesla hasn't placed Superchargers on yet. Once the popularity was discovered the charger could be replaced with a permanent one or the route abandoned; Tesla themselves have done this. Anyway the 2017 map shows much less reason for such an idea.
