Losing cell service

My MX from 2018 has a premium connectivity package that is supposed to be free, but it constantly experiences a lack of service even in major cities. The signal bars disappear completely, and although the service occasionally returns every 5-10 minutes, it only lasts for a few minutes before going out again. Furthermore, when the service is restored, it is only able to connect to 3G, not LTE.
