Recently (after updating to 5.8?), I've noticed that periodically the position in the Favorites list is lost when playing from USB. Sometimes it will forget which song was playing last and sometimes it gets locked into a mode where it keeps repeating the last song that was being played.

Both issues can be resolved by manually re-selecting a song in the playlist.

I suspect this could be related to Sleep mode - that the current media playback settings aren't being stored properly when entering sleep or are not completely restored when resuming from sleep.

    Anyone else seeing this?

Yup. I've been seeing this since one of the later 4.X versions. It used to be much worse when it first started happening. When it was really bad I found a workaround was before getting out of the car to switch to FM. It seemed to save the USB location all the time then but this was before sleep mode was introduced so I don't know if it still works.
