Lost auto high beam, autopilot, cruise ?

This was extremely weird. Car just randomly lost auto high beam, autopilot and cruise for no apparent reason upon one start up cycle. I tried to reset the dash, it didn't fix the problem. The problem was fixed once I did a full power off and on. Anyone have an idea as to what that was? Or did Microsoft happen?

Was your car still tracking correctly on the map while those features were disabled? (i.e. GPS working?)

I had this happen on a rental Model X and it ended up being a corroded connector on one of the side repeater cameras. Despite not being used for autopilot yet, the failure of that one camera took all of the driver assistance systems offline (EAP, TACC, LDW, automatic high beams, etc.) The service center was able to temporarily fix the problem while I was on my trip by cleaning the corrosion off of the connector.

I haven’t had that same error since that day. I did have my gps freeze on me the other day, had to do a full power on and off to fix it.
