Lost range after 5,000 miles

i used to charge to 90%. Once during the first month, I charged to 100% and it gave me 311 miles. After that I limited my charging to keep it between 30%-70%. I finally went on my first long trip so I charged it to 100% and it only hit 298 mile range. I lost 13 mikes of range in 4 months.

I’m on v2018.36.2. Do you think some of my batteries went bad?

Just breathe, not uncommon. If you believe that it is an issue, call support up and they should be able to remote diagnose it.

Only charging to 70 makes it a little tougher for the BMS to estimate energy content.

You're fine. You are expected to lose range over the first year of owning it. And those numbers it displays are estimates based on your driving and charging.

i've been experiencing the same drop in rated range while charging to 80% every night. All started last Monday, it went from the usual 247 to 245 then 243 then 239 in a few days. I think it could be the colder temp at night lately here in SoCal. Will check again later this week with higher temp.

Replace the battery after 6 years of ownership since you are covered for 8 years 120k. So go enjoy the car till you figure out if the battery degrade badly in the next 6 years, not 6 months of ownership.
