Lost voice command

Hi.
I have been on 39.6 since the weekend it was released.
Yesterday when I got in the car, voice command prompt was asking me what I wanted to do,
The button however didn't work. Happened a few times, so I rebooted the dash.
Still nothing worked. Rebooted main screen. Shut down system and rebooted.
Still voice command button is unresponsive.
Called support. No help.
I rebooted dash just by holding down right wheel(not both)
I am driving down to Florida this Tuesday night.
Earliest appointment in Toronto is in about 3 weeks.
If it is only voice command I can live without it till then.
However I am very concerned.
Cant change the timing of the drive.

Do both the center screen and dash reset obviously.

Also give this a shot, hit the horn to see if the voice command pops up. Mine behaved like that when my switch went bad
Both screens reset
Just tried the horn
Right after honk voice command pops up and works.
But only once. Dead again till I honk

Was anything else wrong or just a bad switch.
Was it a stock item and a quick fix..
Thanks for the help

I'm in the same situation. Voice command does not work since version 9 install. I just assumed it was a software bug and was willing to chill until a software update fixed it. Never occurred to me that it might be the switch! Timing of the failure seems a bit suspicious but I suppose it's possible. I'll have to try the horn trick.

I have been to the service center several times for this issue! I will have to try the horn honk when I get in the car tomorrow. I was thinking the issue was an MCU1 vs 2 issue with the newest software...
