Love bug swarm in Florida.. Reports from Ev car owners requested

Just curious to see if the styling and nature [EV] of any model Tesla attract or not attract swarming love bug males, the bugs, not the humans ;- }

Big flat area in the front seems to be a perfect area for their final rights.
I don't think that they attract the bugs, but the bugs do get in the way of the car, like they do with any car.
Just got to make sure that you keep the front clean often.

Thanks! Love the power of images! Now, how does the compare to the 'harvest' on gassers? From the media story it seems as if the whole front of a car would be darkened with bug bodies. IF EVs run cooler, [less attractive] and lack the pheromone load of petrol- base fuel, I expect less bug collections. Another positive feature of owning an EV [Tesla, of course]. Bees are also attracted to jet fuel [diesal].

I do not think the Love Bugs discriminate between EV and ICE cars. They'll wreck any car. I think mostly depends on the time of year, weather conditions. Happens in Oct and May. Will definitely etch your clear coat and paint if not removed promptly.
