I think you can do that yourself in the options somewhere under "wheels" -- the Model 3 has the same thing for the aero wheels (with/without covers).

Sorry, I assumed it was there, like it is with the Model 3. It will come with a software update then, I assume. It took quite a while for it to show up via software on the Model 3.

You can in an M3, but not in the MY. The option just simply isn’t in the drop down menu.

No. You need to ask service for it manually. They’ll push it OTA.

I just "chatted" with Tesla and they asked me to send pictures of the current avatar on the screen and the wheels (without the covers). They said it would take three weeks to have it completed.

That's hilarious. After reading Scoob's tip I sent them one message and they did it immediately.
