I've noticed that when I turn the wheel at low or no speed, as seen/heard in this video, I get a creaking/ticking noise. Sometimes it's just one or two sounds, but usually always when I have to crank the wheel for slow turns or pulling/backing into parking spots. It's normally not as bad as the video, as I was really going full range on the wheel.

I've had the car for about a month. I noticed this right away when first picking it up but it didn't really seem to affect the car at speed. Then mine was at the SC for a week and I had a loaner and didn't notice it. Mine is a P85D with SAS and 21 inch wheels, and the loaner was an 85D with 19 inch wheels (it may have had SAS as well). Now I"m just trying to figure out if I need to plan for a another SC trip in the near future.

    Thanks for any comments/advice!

That is not normal. I am not confirming this might be the issue, but has your steering box bolts been replaced with the recall yet?

According to the NHTSA, I have 0 unrepaired recalls affecting my VIN. I've sent Tesla a request for recall information anyway, to be on the safe side. I haven't seen a Tesla site to check recall status.
