Does anyone have an idea of what the lower body panels and wheel flares are made of? When I flew to the Petersen to see the prototype the underbody panels appeared to be a thin plastic composite. However, this is a prototype and I am not a materials expert. Frankly, the panels seemed a bit sacrificial (as if you might be expected to destroy them, then replace them easily). There has been a lot of discussion of the Stainless. What is the rest of it made out of? The complexity of the forms something other than metal. The vehicle body is so tough and if it gets the new 4680 cells (on all three models) then it should last more than a human lifetime. I'm sure bushings, air shocks and other parts can wear out. The panels would seem to have to be tougher than polypropylene, or ABS.
