The burden of proof is actually the other way around. The conclusion in this case, the bushing, may be the same, but doesn’t nullify other aspects of the warranty or blacklist anything.
The burden of proof is the other way around in case of OEM-spec parts. Think generic oil filters, or brake pads, do to manufacturer's specs. Obviously non-OEM parts - all they have to show is that the part it not to spec.
 
The bushings will fail without lowering. Premature upper control arm bushing wear is a KNOWN issue. I have seen many 3’s come into the service center with lower control arm issues. If you alter the suspension the service center will NOT warranty any suspension issues.
