Release notes for 2020.28.2 is a bit more specific.

For Adaptive Air Control:

Ride comfort in HIGH and VERY HIGH is improved through adaptive suspension damping improvements and reductions in maximum allowed speeds and ground clearances. Please refer to the Owner’s Manual to find more details.

For smart_air:

For improved ride comfort, the maximum allowed speed and ground clearance in HIGH and VERY HIGH have been reduced. Please refer to the Owner’s Manual to find more details.

I am assuming here that there are only two kinds of air suspension and my car has the older smart-air. I believe this update will only impair my 2016 Model X. Guess that’s the end of the line for this old car since I do not want to lose the current maximum height and gain none of the other feature changes.
