Has anyone installed lower links on their air suspension equipped Tesla? I put on the blox racing set and think it might be too low, started smelling rubber today in the low settings drive.
In the photos this is the normal ride height setting. Is this control arm this little clearance normally? The rear seems fine to me. The car can also not adjust ride height anymore sometimes.
I put the lowering links to the same length as the stock plastic links.

That clearance you picture between the knuckle assembly (what your fingers are touching) and the tire is standard, and won’t change based on your ride height. The knuckle moves with the hub/wheel.

The "Blox Racing" links are the same ones sold on e-bay. If you have them EXACTLY the same length as the factory links, your car should sit at factory height. Every 1mm longer you make the link, you drop the car 1/4". I wouldn't drop it more than about 1.5 inches (27.5" from ground to top of wheel arch) or you'll scrape on everything.

If you're lowering it to the point where it can't drop any lower, between "standard" and "low," then you've dropped it to the point where the air bag is empty. So, you're riding on an empty flap of rubber. That's too low...it'll ride like crap and might be where some of your rubbing is coming from...because your car is aligned for a much higher ride setting.

From your pictures, though, the main problem looks to be your caster. This is the angle/position of your wheel in the wheel well in relation to the suspension pivot point. It's adjusted via the lower front control arm, with a cam bolt.

Your is too positive - so your wheel is too far forward in your wheel well. That means that you will rub the front of the fender liner (plastic) when you turn.

Caster is adjusted in an alignment. So, set the car to ride at between 27.5 and 28" from floor to wheel arch in standard, and then take your car for an alignment at a reputable shop (a performance alignment shop, NOT DISCOUNT TIRE). Have them adjust the caster back to about 4 or 4.5 degrees. Both .sides should be the same.

How many "turns" of the lowering link is equivalent to 1mm?

Sounds like OP would benefit from ANY alignment being done 😂

Depends on the pitch. Get a caliper and measure it.
