Lowest wh/mi

Curious what’s the lowest wh/mi drivers get. I was surprised to hit 40 from Jamboree and Chapman to Old Towne Orange the other day. It’s pretty much downhill all the way.

I’ve heard if you’re coasting down a big mountain/volcano like Haleakala in Maui that you’re charging the battery the whole way down, so negative Wh/mi. But you’re gonna use a lot of juice going up a 10,000 foot volcano.

I didn't document the trip but my LEAF may be a record holder.

I would drive uphill to my neighbor, load up 500 kg or so of pavers, and then brake most of the way home.

I hit the mid 180's on my way to work in the summer, no A/C if I drive conservatively. About 15 miles. If I gun it a few times I can still be about 200 wh/mi.

230Wh/mi over 47,300 miles with LR RWD is pretty good. Beats EPS, I think.
