Damn, hoping I get a call soon as well.
Ordered 10/15, changed to stealth 11/27, my delivery center is Buena Park as well, can't wait!
Hey I ordered in 10/21, changed to stealth on the 11/27th as well, in Buena Park too! My page source VIN changed from 6027xx to 6023xx. Not sure what that means but hope we get our P3D- within the upcoming weeks!

Good news for us then! When I changed to Stealth my DA said it would probably be 7-10 days. Today is day 8...A Saturday delivery would be perfect.

Finally got the VIN and the delivery date on my page, looking like Dec 14th for me here in Washington. Tried to call the Delivery folks but couldn't get through, I'm sure they're slammed though. I love them, but don't envy them at all...

Got through to the delivery guys at the Bellevue Square store. Confirmed for Saturday afternoon, being delivered to my house!

Ordered 11/30, was a pre-production Pearl White P3D-.
Noticed VIN in Source 12/2, but likely was there on 11/30
Got delivery date from website this morning (12/11)
So it looks like 14 days from ordering to delivery. I never got any other notifications from them, email, text, phone calls, anything. I've been refreshing the website every few hours hoping I'd get the good news.

I'm hoping there are no issues with the build quality and that it'll be a smooth delivery!

First post here, been reading daily since my order. Awaiting delivery of my stealth any moment now which will be delivered to my home in Berkeley.

Ordered LR AWD but switched to pre production stealth with 19 inch wheels on 12/6, VIN was assigned immediately. I got very little notice of delivery, my representative called at 9:30am today and scheduled a 2pm delivery! Had very little heads up for payment, document review etc, luckily was prepared based on reading others experiences. Best of luck to all!

maybe it's the wheels... what color is your car? i switched on 12/5 and was just told this morning by my SA that the car probably won't be delivered until the 4th week of december. they also apparently switched me from home delivery (in oakland) to pickup @ fremont when i changed to the stealth. at the time i thought this meant that the car might be in inventory but later i found out i was in pre-production.

i would have been stoked to read your message if i hadn't called in this morning!

I talked to a delivery specialist (of some sort) in the last hour, who confirmed that my car is on a truck and en route to the right coast. I've tried to avoid bugging people too much because I know they're slammed, but the complete lack of info bothered me so this was the second time I reached out through chat (because nobody in Tyson's answers the phone).

Details in case it's useful:
  • 11/19 - Initial order for LR AWD, Midnight Silver, 19" wheels, black interior
  • 12/3 - Changed order to stealth, colors and wheels unchanged. Matched to a pre-production VIN 227xxx immediately (in source only).
  • 12/3 - MVPA link showed up, but was a corrupt file
  • 12/4 - Reached Tesla through chat, received MVPA through email and finished lining up financing
  • 12/5 - Said what the hell and had my FCU submit final payment considering instructions were in the MVPA.
  • 12/6 - Agent that sent the MVPA emailed that the VIN was still pre-production.
  • 12/11 - No changes visible anywhere. Realized I'm way more impatient than lot of people who have been waiting much longer. Reached out to get another call back and was informed it's on a truck with expected arrival 12/19.
So I feel at least I have a ballpark within a few days at this point. Hope the info is useful or reassuring to someo

I got a white one. I was expecting later this month based on what my SA told me last week when I changed. I had kind of given up and then the call came in.

Good news from Minnesota! Called Eden Prairie dealership to get an update for holiday planning and was surprised to hear that car is already in transit from CA. Person on phone assumed I already had been scheduled for delivery, but no one had contacted me. Scheduled a delivery for Saturday morning.

To recap:
11/17: Ordered White/Black LR AWD
11/26: Switched to White/Black Stealth Performance
11/30: VIN 622XXX appears; car is pre-production.
12/01-12/08: checked in a couple times with advisor; remains in pre-production and given estimated delivery for 12/30 or 12/31
12/09: Reassinged to VIN 601XXX. Car is still in pre-production per Tesla factory showroom.
12/11: Car is post-production and is en-route.
12/14: AM delivery scheduled

Things certainly move fast once they get going. Have a CarMax trade-in valuation appt scheduled tomorrow and a PPF appointment scheduled for Monday. Now to determine whether to do full front + rocker panels ($1600+$500) vs full car $3500)...

thanks - i guess that's the default color - but who knows if that has anything to do with it. i guess for my part it wouldn't be the first time an SA was wrong, so i guess there's still a chance the car materializes sooner.

Logged on to chat with Tesla. Told them I had a vin met MVPA, but still says 6-8 weeks. They took my name and number. 30 mins later got a call from Las Vegas number saying that delivery will be 12/20.(I’m in florida) . Interesting to find out that car’s Birthday was yesterday (same day that vin changed from 602xxx (pre-production) to 601xxx). So I’m assuming that when vin changes, it is safe to assume pre-production has been built. 10 days sounds about right for transport to Florida from what I see in spreadsheet. Hopefully no delays or QC issues!

Just got delivery confirmation for a P3D-. I ordered on 12/1, and the MVPA and source-code VIN showed up basically immediately. Just received an email from the delivery advisor in SF. My car is *in* SF and could be picked up as early as today. I scheduled for Friday.

Like others I've been quite impatient. Last I heard from my SA was last week, and he told me "don't worry -- by the end of the year". I walked into another showroom last night and asked about status -- I was told he had no info and I should reach out to my SA and call the showroom I bought it from. My SA didn't return an email this week, and I was actually on the phone with the showroom I bought it from, being told that they have no info, when I received the email from the local DA. So... a) Tesla needs to get their act together, and b) no news isn't bad news.

Lucky!
You got me excited so I called to check - car is finally built at least but still just sitting at the factory and not yet en-route.

My recap (thus far):
10/18: Ordered White/Black LR AWD Performance
11/30: Switched to White/Black Stealth Performance & got a pre-production VIN the same day (wish I had known it was an option much earlier)
12/9: Reassigned to VIN 6014XX
12/10: Reassigned to VIN 6019XX
12/11: Called to check on status and informed car is built and at factory but not yet in transit

Soon to hit the 2 month mark.. most of it being completely in the dark and anxiously waiting to hear anything

i just talked to an SA about my order (changed to P3D- on 12/5/19) - they are talking about delivery (to fremont) during the week of 22-28 december. so we're coming right down to the wire with CA deliveries it seems.

??? how can these guys be so wrong?

i just logged into my tesla account to find that:

1) my VIN is now shown, it is the same as what was in the source
2) i have a delivery appointment for 13 Dec @ fremont

even though every time i've called in to ask about status they have put me on hold for 2-3 minutes (ostensibly to check something or call someone else) it seems to me that they could not possibly checked anything because how could they not have known the car would be ready on friday this morning?
