LR AWD Performance (Stealth TM3) Waiting Room

What did you order and when? When I called the SF showroom to get an idea of delivery dates, some person told me that "all deliveries were the last 2 weeks of December." She didn't ask me my order date or number. I could have been anyone! What B.S.!

Yes, a F-ing *sugar* show. They really don't seem to have their act together. Just for grins, make them let you inspect the car before you do the paperwork and drag it on for 1/2 hour! I guess that's not nice to other people picking up. I do wonder if they will bring out a gong and "gong" you that your inspection is over after 5 minutes!

The best of luck amidst the craziness. No matter where you are going home, be careful - the traffic will be nuts.

I lost a LR AWD in early October. I couldn't pick it up in the 2 or 3 day window that they gave me. I was told by one of the delivery associates that it was "pick it up, or not pick it up" during that time.

Can you take a day off from work? Call in sick? If you don't have your finance paper ready - then I don't think you are going to find a bank that is open to finish that kind of paperwork. Maybe. Good luck!

When I went into the Fremont delivery center, I told them I could do Monday. They said they’re closed, so I responded with Wednesday. They said Wednesday would work but that would be 12/4.
If they’re willing to hold until Wednesday, then hopefully they don’t give away the car.

I'm now getting a LR AWD FSD White on Blk 18" Wheel Performance Stealth. I had a full-on Performance ordered since Sept 19th (missed my Sept delivery and so lost my original VIN). While waiting all this time, I decided that I wanted more rubber on the road that one gets with the 18" rims vs the 20" Performance. Just 2 days ago, I contacted my sales guy in Palo Alto to change my order to a LR AWD FSD White on Blk with 18" wheels. He promptly found a Stealth and offered it to me. By some miracle of luck, I'm taking delivery on Black Friday in Fremont. I was so happy that I never even asked about the black interior trim. Does anybody know if it's the same interior one gets with the regular performance?

Yes, it's the same black interior for the P3D+ vs P3D- (and also same for regular LR AWD). The only real difference I can think of is P3D+ comes with the metal accelerator and brake pedals. My point is they are essentially the same, any differences are very very minor.

Picked up yesterday at 5 PM at Fremont Delivery Hub. It was real fast and smooth, even though the Delivery Specialist seemed brand new to the job. It was a bit perplexing that I knew a lot more about the car than he did.

But no matter. I had time to look over the car, and am happy to report no obvious defects. It took all of 20 minutes, and most of that time was signing on the dotted line. Also happy to report that it came with V10, and the front plate holder was not installed.

Naturally, after weeks of warm, dry weather, yesterday was cold and rainy. I spent about 45 minutes at the Hub setting up the seats, mirrors, storing it in my profile, and authorizing my phone as a phone key. I had to pick up my son at the Oakland airport (on my way home), but had FOUR hours to kill! It was dark, cold, rainy, and in an area I am totally unfamiliar with. But no matter, I had a blast driving around, getting lost, using the excellent Nav system, listening to that awesome sound system, and finding the closest SC just for the heck of it.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody, and here's wishing a great Model 3 holiday season!

Scottsdale, AZ. P3D- 19" wheels. I have delivery on Saturday 30-Nov (day after tomorrow) but have yet to receive my MVPA from Tesla. I'm getting my own financing from Credit Union who can't process a check that needs sent overnight to Tesla without the MVPA. Not sure if we can pull this off...Tesla's back office sure could use a lot of improvement. My sales rep who has been awesome seems to be doing all of the legwork but still constrained by Tesla inner office. This might get interesting... Apologies for the rant however Tesla will need to step up their customer service with the new competition firing up!

I had the same issue accessing the MVPA from the customer portal. I called my delivery center and they were able to generate one within 15m. Sent it over to my Credit Union who was able to process the loan and cut a check. This all went down yesterday, Wednesday. Picking up my Sleeper on Saturday in Costa Mesa, CA.

Try calling the Delivery Center and ask for the Operation Advisor. My SA was not very helpful once the order was placed.

Any performance with gray wheels around there?

Really? I’m in AZ as well but haven’t heard any update about delivery. When did you get the delivery text? I ordered before you on October 5th, and switched to Stealth Performance on Nov 20.

What color did you order? I ordered white.

Ordered my stealth MSM 18in FSD on 11.21. The My Tesla Page updated my delivery date to 11/30 and assigned me a VIN yesterday.

I emailed my advisor today about picking up my car between December 5th and December 18th due to being out of town for Thanksgiving. He said that the max they could hold the car at the gate was 3 days and that if I couldnt pick up the car in this time frame, my reservation would be released :(:(:(

Never heard of this policy before. Really bummed out. Is my advisor screwing me over?

I sympathize with you. I had

I’m in a similar situation. Saturday delivery but no MVPA which I need to finalize my loan. I’m waiting on them to appraise my trade-in; no MVPA without it. I don’t want to trade my car into a CarMax because if I end up rejecting my delivery I won’t have a car. No can do. I’ve been ghosted by three Tesla advisors after they said they’d help me. I know it’s not their fault so I’m not angry. I’m going to call and badger them tomorrow to get it done. As politely as possible.

Are Tesla SAs in the showrooms tomorrow?

I don't know. I've been dealing with showroom SA's from the start thinking the personal interaction would assure me a better delivery experience. It's been mixed, through no fault of their own. Whoever is responsible for clicking the "perform trade-in valuation" button just needs to do it. My trade-in valuation has been in the "in progress" state for five days. Afraid of being in some weird queue limbo, I removed the trade-in valuation yesterday and immediately re-added it in hopes it would trigger some kind of notification to the trade-in/finance department. It's a completely paid off car registered only under my name, the scenario can't be any more basic. I'm going to call the Fremont Delivery Center first thing tomorrow morning to escalate. I'll call whoever I need to. It could be a nightmare driving to the showroom where I placed my order because it's on Santana Row which will likely be packed with Black Friday shoppers. I hate shopping crowds.
