Alright peeps, after days or torment, I finally got a call from Tesla today, I have an appointment for pickup on Tuesday, the 17th of this month. :) Pretty stoked about it. Will keep you all informed.
I checked the account page and VIN is populated. :)

If anyone has any tips for me or things to watch out for, please let me know. Thank you all!
Download the delivery checklist and look at videos on YouTube and get yourself prepared. Also, when you go to bed and before falling asleep, visualize (with your eyes closed) each and every nook and corner of the Tesla in your mind and touch everything. Memorize the pattern.

I wouldn't be worried at all. Let them take the time to detail your car. As always, though, do check it over closely before driving off.

Good luck!

Finally I got the delivery of the vehicle from fremont center. I was expecting it to be busy, but there was no one expect me.
Had been exploring the vehicle this whole afternoon, I am loving it.

If you are waiting for the vehicle at least in bay area. I would suggest to call in sales and talk to them. They can prepone the delivery.

well i actually went to the fremont distribution center today while i had some time off, just to make sure they had my appointment confirmed for tomorrow. i asked if the car was there already and they said no, that the cars for the next day generally come in the late afternoon. seems like there were a couple of people in the lobby but not busy. the guy even told me to come early for my appointment.

then of course when i got home they called me to say the car was damaged and they needed to fix it. so my appointment got pushed out by one day... which is actually fine but i expect them to be a lot busier on the weekend.

as i was leaving someone came around the corner in a blue P3D-, maybe for a delivery today.

I've had a pretty circuitous adventure with my stealth order too:

- Put order in on 12/2 on what I was told was a car sitting on a lot in Carlsbad, CA. I had a SA find it for me and it had a VIN when I ordered it.
- SA contacted me on 12/5 3 days later telling me that I had a VIN -- which was the same VIN she gave me 3 days earlier. I was told to call and get insurance as she'd be scheduling delivery for me. She told me the car was in route to Marina Del Rey to prep for delivery on 12/7.
- A Delivery Support Specialist sent me an email on 12/6 and told me to call Tesla Financial and leave a message to square aware financing. No one ever called me back or ever referenced this call or message.
- The next day on 12/7 a Sr. Regional Finance Specialist sent me an email to square away my financing -- this went relatively smoothly.
- I tried to connect with the Delivery Support Specialist to let them know my financing was in order and I was ready to confirm my delivery (which was supposed to be 12/7 but that never showed up in my account.) All of the emails sent to this person bounced back as undelivered...
- After all of this the Delivery Support Specialist emailed me and told me that my car was pre-production and didn't exist yet and he couldn't schedule delivery.
- I connected with my original SA to tell her that I was told that my car was pre-production to which she replied "Does that mean you you unable to get a delivery date?" She said that she would figure it out and that there was a mistake with all of the systems not talking to each other.
- On 12/9 she said "I'll get everything back on track"
- I received a text message a few hours later on 12/9 from Tesla Delivery Support telling me that I had a delivery date of 12/14 at 10am at Marina Del Rey.
- I received a text message an hour after that message that said "If you attend a workshop on 12/15 you'll be prioritized to receive your car earlier" So, I was confused...I had a date and time on the 14th but I was invited to a workshop on the 15th to get prioritized for a quicker delivery.
- Today 12/12, I called Marina Del Rey to confirm that my appointment was real and they told me that my car has not been produced yet.
- I asked my SA to square what was happening and she said that there was a "system error" and the car that was going to be ready on Saturday isn't my car, but my VIN is still available and it is indeed still at the factory. She said "We are on track for delivery. We are waiting for the car to completely come out of production. There will be no snags. I just need the car to roll out of the manufacturing plant." She said this after a bunch of snags, haha.

So who knows where we stand now...what a journey!

Haha, yeah...I guess the adventure part is the fact multiple people give conflicting information and no one can confirm what another person has said...

Seems like that's par for the course (and I'm well aware that people have been waiting FOREVER.) Not complaining, just sharing my story.

understood. Typical Tesla though. Young car company with demand up the wazzo. It's funny that we put up with it, had it been another company like ford or chevy (insert every other car company here), we would of riot by now. But we let Elon Tusk slide, cause... Elon.

I hope its just a minor touch up, you must have seen me :)

Called my local delivery location to try to move my delivery from Saturday to tomorrow. When he looked at my location he told me he was very surprised that the truck hadn't left the factory yet. He said it may not make it until Saturday. It is a 19 hour drive and I'm assuming they switch out drivers to make it all in one go, so I think I'm still OK as long as it leaves today
Yeah, my SA told me yesterday that mine would arrive today. Got a text tonight informing me that it hadn’t arrived. There’s been a winter storm passing through the intermountain west. I wonder if they intentionally delayed so they weren’t driving though it.

Ordered 12/7, got VIN 12/10 Vin is 647*** which is way later than some. It is a Red Multi-coat, so maybe different batch.

I got a delivery specialist assigned yesterday. Finished financing today and was fully funded, since that was the requirement here in Texas. Just waiting on delivery date now.

Dang! I ordered 12/4 and still don't have a vin. Red Multi as well. Obviously new <-----, but the stealth is now the Performance correct? From the reading and research I am muddling through it seems the stealth is no more and the performance is the equivalent.

No...the stealth is a regular AWD model that gives you the performance of the ummm...performance for an extra $2k. You can still order the full performance model with the bigger brakes, wheels, etc. Although, the last I knew was that all of the stealths were spoken for this year. Having said that, the situation changes hourly as people choose not to take delivery or change to a different VIN. Someone posted in the Denver thread yesterday that two stealths came available in Littleton, CO as the original people who ordered them chose not to get those cars. They got snatched up quickly.

In my short experience it pays to have the SA scan the inventory to see what is available. For example, if I had been in his ear I might have been able to pick up one of those cars last night instead of waiting for mine to arrive (hopefully) next week.

Supposed to pick mine up this weekend, but concerned about the big snowstorm in CO/UT delaying it. I will be traveling starting Wednesday of next week, so if I don't get it picked up before then I'm assuming they'll give it to someone else and I'll be SOL in terms of getting the stealth M3.
