LR AWD Performance (Stealth TM3) Waiting Room

Took delivery of my stealth last night in Costa Mesa. It was the second stealth i was matched to. I couldn’t take delivery of the first one since i was out of town during thanksgiving. I didn’t think it would be a problem because i was told the vehicles would be ready in 1-2 weeks. But the first stealth was ready in 5 days and the second stealth was ready in 7 days.

Anyways, i got a call from delivery specialist that my vehicle would arrive around midnight and i could take delivery in evening.

I got a text earlier today to schedule delivery. Scheduled delivery for Sunday morning 12/15. (Scottsdale Delivery center) ....Sooo close!....

Ordered 12/11, found an inventory 12/12, delivery scheduled 12/19 (could have been early as 12/17 but I'm in CA that week.)
VIN is 647XXX
So if I took the first delivery it would be 7 days order-to-deliver

Wow! That's a big step-up in VIN number from what I've been seeing this week. Mine is 601XXX and I get it Monday.

Talked to delivery person in Plano Texas, my car is still in California, they waited until they got fully paid before shipping. It will be in transit now. They said they will call me when it arrives, around 4-5 days.

Confirmed with Marina Del Rey Delivery Center my car is waiting and ready for pickup tomorrow.

My timeline for Stealth P3D- Pearl White 18 Aero:
12/2: Joined a facebook group to connect me with a dedicated OA who reached out via email
12/3: Placed deposit for the car, order agreement sent via email and RN generated on Tesla account (didn't know I could check source for a VIN though)
12/4: My OA says the car should be available by 12/19 which was important as I would be out of town for the holidays by the weekend.
12/6: MVPA link shows up on order page with a VIN starting in 622xxx, but VIN does not show on main page and Tesla Insurance quote button is disabled.
12/10: MVPA link is updated on order page with a different VIN that now shows 602xxx but VIN still does not show on main page. Source code matches new VIN
12/11: OA sends me a link to schedule delivery which shows available dates of 12/13 and 12/14 but all times are unavailable. After trying again a few times on different browsers, it allows me to select a Saturday 12/14 timeslot. Once confirmed, my order page is updated with the VIN and delivery date. Tesla Insurance button is now enabled as well, and the quote for me is favorable vs Geico with same coverage so I pay and confirm coverage.
12/12: Credit Union cut me a loan check
12/13: Confirmed with Marina it is indeed arrived and ready for tomorrow 12/14

things are going pear shaped... they pushed my delivery back to the 18th now since the car has to go back to the paint shop.

getting very close to the point where i won't be able to take delivery of the car due to travel plans

Got the 'schedule your appointment' text this morning. Still doesn't show a VIN on the site (other than in source), but it let me schedule an appointment for next Tuesday in Minneapolis. Pretty fast considering I only ordered 12/6.

Hey me too! I also scheduled for Tuesday at Eden Prairie.
That's some quick turn around for you ( originally placed my order on 10/18).

Finally picking up my stealth in Burbank tomorrow. 3 weeks since I was matched to a VIN by my SA.

I am in Bellevue, WA. After waiting to see if I would get my M3 ordered on 11/26, I checked with my SA tonight. He paired me with a LR AWD Performance currently in Portland, OR, and I accepted it rather than waiting more as we are traveling at the end of next week. VIN is 602XXX. It should be a very exciting week next week!

So I got a call from my SA today with a delivery update. Car was supposed to arrive yesterday. She said the delivery was delayed because a “problem with the carrier”. I asked if the truck had left CA and she said yes. So I’m guessing the truck is somewhere between Salt Lake City and CA on I-80. Anyone else hear of this?.

She wanted to schedule delivery for early next week but I can’t so we settled on Thursday. After our conversation got delivery text and vin appeared on website.

Nice! Great to hear these cars are around! Iv'e been researching seriously for about 2-3 weeks. Will be ordering hopefully by January.I will be getting one of these once I move. Do they deliver to your house or do you have to pick up from a service center? Can you request a color and tire size or you get what you get? Also do I have to be there to sign for it or can a family member? Thank you all!!

In my case I asked the SA to look for the closest car he would possibly already have nearby vs the one we are still waiting a VIN for given our trip abroad starting Friday of next week. He came back with the one I will get early next week. The only difference is that I had picked FSD and this one won;t have it, but I can always add it later, when and if I finally feel like it.
